We recommend you exfoliate 24 hours prior to your spray tan using a non-oily scrub, you wear loose dark clothing and do not moisturise on the day of your tan. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ TANNING AFTERCARE Thank you for choosing Urban Glow for your tanning. Please keep these things in mind for a gorgeous glowing tan. AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT 1. Have a lukewarm 60 second rinse in the shower, no soap. Make sure you gently wash away your bronzer, and do not stand under running water as this may cause streaking TIP: Washing your legs first from top to bottom is best practice, then rinse the rest of your body 2. Pat dry with a towel 3. Do not moisturise for 16 to 24 hours after your tan to help the colour develop. Moisturising your face and applying deodorant is fine FOR BEST RESULTS ◦ Use 'Spray Aus Tan Extender' every other day to a moisturiser which will prolong your tan ◦ Hydration is key as when your dry skin flakes, it takes your beautiful bronze with it ◦ Be mindful that long showers, dips in the pool or saunas will decrease your tan longevity After application you may decide a darker or lighter result is required. We suggest extending the time slowly, so perhaps try an extra hour or two next time. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
